Music buffs will like this print! It features lots of musical notes and symbols, all made up from smaller notes and symbols. Quite a neat visual of how music works eh?
The colour way is a ivory on a plain navy, which we find goes well with any bold colour, if not ivory and navy itself! We have done both a Martha Blouse and a Bessie Skirt in this fabric so you can mix and match, and have the look of a shirtwaister dress if you wish as well
The skirt itself is a 1940s pattern, which matched the fit and flare of not only an original 1930s skirt but also a 1950s pattern. The only difference was the number of panels. They clearly did regurgitate the things that worked well!
Our edition comes with a wide 1.5" (4cm) waistband, side zipper and a cute daisy button. The length from the top of the waistband to the hem is 28" (71cm). We have used a plastic zip as it keeps our costs down considerably, but have put it in the old fashioned way
100% cotton and machine washable
Our model is Caroline, owner of Fritzi's Hair Parlour in Sweden. The shoot took place there and at the neighbouring Austin's Vintage. The Photographer is Lee Parker
