Our Mary vintage style dress recreates the late 30s to early 1940s with its gathered shoulders, puff sleeves and fitted waist. It has a great bust enhancing look, while not displaying any cleavage at all. Men really turn and look!
The Navy Mary was made just in time for Kitten von Mew's wedding, so rather than wait for our model pictures to come through, it seems smart to show you a sneak peek using photos from her special day where the dresses were used for the bridesmaids! The navy is a very saturated colour, but not a dark navy. It will suit most skin types and look wonderful dressed up or down with accessories
The fabric is an easy care polyester that requires little or no ironing and looks like a vintage crepe.
Other features include:
- A discrete invisible zip down the centre back - Yes, we know it isn't too vintage that way, but girls were getting stuck after having their hair done when we had only a side zip.
- Shoulder pads for authenticity (easily removed by snipping the stitching if you so desired)
- A-line skirt to skim the hips and tummy
- Machine Washable
- Very little ironing, if any, required so it is great for travelling!
