Our long sleeve Olivia's have had a make over. We've adjusted the fit under the arms so you no longer have to go up a size. We've bought it out in a lovely floppy viscose, as vintage as we can get.
The Olivia is a late 30s pattern adapted to modern figures. The exaggerated collar and puffed sleeves are typical of the era. The original pattern also included our Bessie skirt, although we've paired it here with our classic A line.
We loved this Deco rose print so much we've made it into both a dress and a long sleeved blouse. It's so very Charles Rennie Macintosh.
The ruby red is a lovely tone. Can one red be more vintage than another? Maybe. We think it's a lovely "vintage" red.
Other points to note:
Wonderful 1930s wide collar
Gathered fullness at the cuff
Gently puff sleeves
Viscose (aka rayon) fabric
