You would be forgiven for wondering over the name we've given this playsuit. While searching Wikipedia for the appropriate purple name to describe the colour, we came across a shade called "Pomp and Power". What a name! Apparently it was in the 2nd edition of the "Dictionary of Color" from 1950. So even though our shade is more of a true purple, we couldn't resist the era appropriate name.
The top and shorts are available singularly or as a set, so you can choose top and bottoms of different sizes if you need.
The colours are lovely bright bunch of purple, lilac, mulberry flowers with light emerald leaves. The background is ivory, not quite cream. The fabric is 100% Cottton, machine washable and the garment is made right here in the UK!
If you're short-waisted or particularly slim, you can do up only the top two of the three buttons, enabling you to knot it higher and more tightly, like Kitten has done here. Make sure you remember your girl scout training and tie a reef knot for a neater finish
